A New Ministry "Freedom In Christ World Ministries"
Pastor Sylvester Carter accepted his calling into the ministry under the direction of James T. Morris, Pastor of St. Peter's Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in 1993. He accepted his first charged at Pine Grove CME Church, in Boligee, Alabama in 1996 and served it for over four years. While Pastor Carter continued to seek the direction for his life he attended school at Miles College and received his Bachelor of Science Degree of Social Work.
Pastor Carter was attending St. Paul School of Theology working toward his Master of Divinity Degree until the Holy Sprit prompted him that it was time to start FICWM. FICWM, held it's first service on March 27, 2005
